Blackie (senior male) the Cat needs a home
This is Blackie, a sweet and gentle senior male cat. He is a Loving Care Cat Rescue cat residing in Lewisberry.
Blackie is believed to be about 10 years old. He and another kitty were outside cats but then brought inside by a dear woman who adored them. After she passed away, they were left alone, except for feedings, for 3 years in a house. When the house was to be sold, the cats needed "to go somewhere" and the family reached out to us and we accepted them. A foster has been working with them to trust again and as you can see, they found it in their hearts to give humans another chance.
Recently, Blackie was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. His medication is easily administered by rubbing a gel on his ear daily and only costs $25 per month. He is feeling much better now and is such a sweet, affectionate boy!
Please, if you have room in your house to find room in your heart for this sweet boy. Blackie follows the foster around! Blackie is neutered, his shots are up to date and he uses the litter box. He loves people and likes to be gently petted. Blackie gets along with other cats & some dogs.
The adoption donation is $35.00 which includes a negative Felv and FIV test, worm and flea meds, distemper and rabies shots.
